Introducing the first annual Muskoka Yarn & Fibrefest. A one day show featuring the very best of fibre arts, from raw fleece to finished objects. Organizers welcome yarn enthusiasts and fibre newcomers alike to this one of a kind event on the first real weekend of summer in beautiful Muskoka.
Vendors are a who’s who of independent fibre producers and artisans. Fibre lovers will recognize names such as: The Felting Shop, The Misfit Fibre Co, Totally into Fibres, Sheeps Ahoy and Raised by Wools.
There will be a bus called the Ride & Relax to Fibrefest. The coach bus has WiFi and is $60 per person – Round trip.
Pickups from: London, Woodstock, Guelph/Kitchener/Waterloo, Toronto, Barrie and Orillia.
Volunteers Wanted: There’s free admission to anyone who volunteers for Fibrefest. Organizers are looking for volunteers on the Friday and Saturday to help vendors and the general public, with everything from loading and unloading, to serving lunch and watching booths for vendors.
