Congratulations to felt :: feutre canada member Kimberly Tucker. Her solo show Inheritance will be at Art Gallery of Bancroft (AGB) from September 4 – 28, 2019. The opening reception is Friday, September 6 at 7:30pm.
About the Artist
Kimberly is beguiled by both the smallest intricacies and the manner in which they are interwoven to create the whole. While her creative process may take the form of sculpture, felting, assemblage, or collage Kimberly’s concept invariably probes the interrelationship between humanity and nature.
In 2013 Kimberly graduated with honours from the Visual and Creative Arts Program at Haliburton School for Art and Design and has since pursued further studies in felting.
She has shown her work in both private and public art galleries including the Art Gallery of Mississauga, Agnes Jamieson Public Art Gallery, Thames Art Gallery, and Quest Art Gallery. Her work was featured in two felt :: feutre canada shows: Migration and Shrine.
