We are delighted to welcome Lesley Buxton to the felt :: feutre canada team in the position of media director. Lesley will be looking after our social media and website news pages, as well as writing articles for national and international publication on feltmaking in Canada and Canadian feltmakers. She is a very talented writer and brings beautiful narrative into her fibre art work. We are honoured to have her working with us!
Here’s a little more about Lesley:
Lesley Buxton’s two passions in life are writing and the fibre arts. Her office is crammed with roving and books. Over the years she has worked as a writer in a number of capacities: as a playwright, a short fiction author, a newspaper columnist, and a theatre critic. She recently graduated from the University of King’s College with a MFA in Creative Nonfiction from the School of Journalism. She is looking forward to using her new knowledge to help promote Canadian feltmakers.
