Canadian Felt Symposium 2016 :: Meet & Greet

Tonight was the opening night of the felt :: feutre canada Canadian Felt Symposium 2016 located in beautiful Penticton, BC.  It went wonderfully. The exhibition pieces were breathtaking. And the air buzzed with anticipation and excitement. To kick things off there was a meet and greet featuring Okanagan wine and delicious nibbles. This gave workshop instructors and participants the opportunity to introduce themselves. Though some people were shy at first, it didn’t take long until the room was alive with conversation.

There was also the chance to shop. Vendors: Humming Bee Farm, Unwind Knit and Fibre Lounge & Aurelia Wool, Chaotic Fibres, and Felt It Forward brought lots of goodies with them. If tonight’s event is any indication of the week to come, it’s going to be an inspirational time for all involved.
