Updated: Nov 4, 2021

Congratulations to Rena Hood Lundrie from British Columbia on her feature article and gorgeous cover in Felt Matters, the International Felt Association journal.  Issue 127,  just released this month, includes a two page, in depth profile, as well as a collection of images of Rena’s stunning work.

Rena’s piece “Huckleberry Fairy” was included in the felt :: feutre canada FELT fashion show at the Symposium in 2013, and her costume “Maiden’s Veil” was selected to create a strong finish to the FELT fashion show at the Symposium in Penticton in 2016.

Rena has recently dedicated herself to a fulltime feltmaking practice, with a particular focus in hat making.  She says, ” I adore hats- they are little sculptures atop the head that express the wearer’s unique personality wherever they go.”
